Hi Girls,
My landlord went into foreclosure and then the county took it
over. It was all meant to be and because of it my husband and I
bought our own home and moved in during the
Labor Day weekend.
I thought I would share some old pictures of
my living room space at the rented cottage. It was
updated somewhat, but I never got around taking any more
recent pictures of that room or any other room for that
matter..... darn it I wish I did! Anyways, after finding out
about what took place... I immediately started looking
for a place to live and boy did I find something grand.
I am totally happy with our new home and it's going
to be a pleasure decorating it inside as well as the outside.
What a relief getting our own home and not be concern
about this and that when renting. Hopefully I'll have
a picture of our New Home.
I also want to mention about this awesome cat we now have in our
life. Something I would never thought in a million years would
ever have. I am not a Cat person, but It just goes to show
you never know what's going to take place in your life. This is an old
picture of our stray cat with some booboos at the time when
he was out there trying to survive last November. He was starving
to death and also cold and before you know it he's now spoiled
and loved very much. I got him neutered and he had all
his shots.
He's now our Baby along with our loved birdies. Yes, it's not
the ideal situation, but I do have it all worked out.
That's it for now..... Take Care and God Bless
Sandy~

Hi Sandy, I'm so thrilled for you and your husband finding a home of your own, and I know you will have such fun decorating it! And your little sweet kitty is sooooo adorable!! What is his name? I have a cream colored male Persian very similar in color to your cat, and his name is Max...sometimes I call him Boo-Boo, just 'cuz he's so silly a lot of times, lol :) I am sooo looking forward to seeing pics of your new home....are you still living in the same town, or have you moved to a nearby town?
Take care dear friend!!
Warmest hugs, Brenda
Hi Sandy,
I truly believe that all things happen for a reason, either good or bad. I know you will love your new home and I'm so glad that your kitty will be living there too.
Kitty is so pretty and looks so happy. I'm glad that you rescued him.

It was so nice to see a post from you, Sandy. Such happy news! Congrats on the new home! I know you are going to make it beautiful and I can't wait to hear all about it and see photos.
Boy, oh boy, if that last photo of your new baby just doesn't say it all! That kitty is living the life of luxury now and he looks sooooo content! :)
Sandy I am so excited over you moving into your own home. I really loved your cottage and the beautiful grounds it was on, but now you will have a place that is all yours to make decisions on. How sad that your landlord lost his place though. That makes me sad for those who are going through this.
You have no idea how anxious I am to see how you do your new house. I know it will be gorgeous because all the pieces you have are amazing and you have such a beautiful style. I loved seeing the photos of your old cottage again. I LOVED your living room there.
I also love that you have a new member of the family. He is a lovely thing. Isn't it weird how they can just take our hearts away?
I loved seeing Rosie on the new pink scale you found. The scale is awesome. I hope Rosie wasn't too taken aback with her weight and decide to go on a diet :-) She's so pretty!
sending hugs from here....

Hi Sandy,
Remember me? Congratulations on your new home and new cat. What a wonderful new experience this will be. I, too, believe that everything happens for a reason. I always loved your decorating, remember how much I loved the romantic bedroom, all the beautiful white and lace and cherubs. Happy moments for you ahead decorating your new place.
Blessings,
Lynn
Many Blessings to you and your love ones this Thanksgiving..Hugs and smiles Gloria
Was hoping to see that you had posted lately. Miss you in blogland!
Hi Sandy
Congratulations on the new home!
For some reason orange tabby cats love to roam. I rescued one when he was stranded in the middle of the road-an SUV went right over him as I watched-but he wasn't hurt. He lived here, and with my son, but ran away when I was taking care of him. Oh, how that stung. We figured once a stray, always a stray, and we pray that he found a new, loving home. I have prayed, and all I get from God is, "He's okay, but no more." Still look for him, think about him, little Nacho, with the 6 toes on each foot.
God Bless you for taking in this dear stray. It did my heart good.
