PINK SATURDAY #5 ((VIGNETTE & YARD SALE DELIGHTS)

It's been awhile since my last post, wouldn't you say?
So on this fine Pink Saturday I'm introducing
a vignette with some weeds as the main
attraction. hehe Hey, if you don't have flowers
to use at the time, why not go out to to your
backyard and fine something to your liking. Well in
my case I live in a rural area with fields, so it
was easy for me. Being as it was in late fall
of last year if not early winter, this is what I found.
I thought it would make an interesting setting.

Here is another thing I would like to share with
you a couple of yard sale delights that
I got a few years ago.

A chair, which was a redo, from dark wood to white
with some stressing and a darling
sheer skirt added to the bottom.

Next, is this charming serving piece that I'm
absolutely crazy about.... It has three pieces to it
and can be separated which is
a good thing too. It also has the
perfect shade of pink with gold edging and it's scrolly
which I find myself attracted to things like that.
Every time I see this piece it reminds me of
what I would love to do if I had an extra bathroom
having it in Pink and Gold with the french
style look to it!

This is it for this post, but if you're in the
mood to get your fill on pinks.... go and visit
Beverly's Blog at How Sweet the Sound and click
on any of the women's blogs that are listed there.

Much love to you all*
God Bless
Sandy~

Hi Sandy,
Your pink post is so lovely. I like the twigs in the wooden pot, very pretty.
I love that serving platter, and yes, it looks very romantic chic Paris. I might have to borrow your idea of the ruffle attached to the bottom of the chair....love that look.

Sandy, enjoying a cup of morning coffee looking at your current post. Love the way the chair turned out. What a cute idea to add the skirt! Very nice photo with the weeds. Just shows you, even weeds are good for something on God's green earth! Have a blessed day. carrell

Your yard sale design is perfect. Boy, did you get lucky with that piece!
Weeds? I love weeds and esp. dried ones. Those are just right for the fall and decorating. I think anything dried would make a special centerpiece this time of year and it's all at your lucky fingertips.
Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Now that's what I call making Wonderful out of Weeds. Very creative and the pitcher the weeds reside in ....also neat! Love the server and I bet it works for holding some treasures as well...at least that's how I use one that is much like yours. Makes a great jewelry tray!

Thanks for visiting my Featured Pink Saturday post today...Sue
